About the Role
The Site Warehouse Managers are responsible for ensuring an efficient operation of multi-shed warehouse operations while maintaining budgetary standards and service levels. They are responsible for planning, controlling, implementing the operations strategies, and implementing the controls to increase productivity.
In addition, they take responsibility for the safety department, manage and direct design, and launch and track all improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Deliver on Strategic Financial and Operational management goals for NDC Victoria
- Achieve Quality and Agreed Service Levels to all Customers
- Mange all stock deliveries and maintenance
- Uphold and continually improve safety practices to ensure safety of every employee
- Establish performance metrics for individuals, including development plans
- Manage Team performance and achievement of timely and efficient delivery of products
- Develop professional relationships with all customers, external and internal
Qualifications
- Mid-career cycle/ 5-7 years investment
- Experience Manufacturing or Warehousing Operations environments
- Product knowledge in Garden/Home & Landscaping Hardware consumer products beneficial
- Strong knowledge of Australian Safety Standards and Protocols
- Project Management Skills (Six Sigma/Lean principles)
- Understanding of Finance Principles (e.g.: P&L)
- Project Management Skills (Six Sigma/Lean principles)
- Able to travel domestic/overseas when required
