The company is looking for an experienced, motivated and innovative Full Stack Developer to join their amazing team of Software Engineers. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity and is based out of in their Sydney office located in Pymble, conveniently located in walking distance to the North Shore train line.

Reporting into the Software Manager, as a Software Engineer/ Full Stack Developer at Corin, you will collaborate with our Research & Development, Production Engineering and NPI teams to ensure the effective cross-functional planning, development, verification and release of processes that assist with the continual development and improvement of our revolutionary OPS (Optimized Positioning System) and Customer Portal.  You will also be responsible for supporting front and back-end development for new and existing applications (.Net and PHP platforms), and assisting in the creation of initial functional specification documents and project documentation.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience specialising in web application development.  The business is a small, but rapidly growing company, so they are looking for individuals who want to grow, develop, learn and contribute to the team.  You will pride yourself on your ability to work collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional team environment.  A positive attitude to change and a passion for innovation is essential.

Essential skills and experience

  • Solid experience with server-side web development stacks: C#, .Net Core, PHP
  • Solid experience in front-end technologies (JavaScript frameworks, React, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX and jQuery)
  • Experience building RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge and exposure to CI/CD and Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Telerik UI an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns, testing frameworks and best practices in software development
  • Self-directed and results orientated

 Prior medical device experience or experience working within a regulated environment (exposure to 62304 or 13485) is highly desirable but not mandatory, as will experience with Microsoft Azure.
