We are looking for a Service Design Manager for a unique opportunity as part of a team delivering services to a large number of customers in the Australian market. This is a complex environment and the scope for learning is only limited by your own ambition and willingness to learn new skills. As a Service Design Manager, you will create services across a diverse portfolio of technical change, considering supportability, service and end user needs.

On top of that, you will have a solid understanding of service design, release and transition. You will also have strong ITIL knowledge.


  • Experience of successful service designs and transitions
  • Experience in setting expectations and managing stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Identify and assist with establishing Service assets and operational collateral required for operational readiness
  • Technical background and the ability to question decisions and approaches
  • Work across multiple work-streams within the portfolio identifying conflict, duplication and dependencies

Essential skills and experience

  • A minimum of 3 years IT services background
  • Experience in ITIL aligned Service Management
  • Experience in onboarding third party suppliers
  • Experience of managing delivery to SLAs and Key Performance Indicators
  • Stakeholder management and communication
  • ITIL v3 Foundation, with evidence of further learning, ideally around Service Design and Service Transition as a minimum
