Sales Support / Office Administrator

An opportunity now exists for a Sales and Admin Support to join the Melbourne team. This role is primarily responsible for supporting a team of sales people on a daily basis with the successful fulfillment of orders and clerical work.

Reporting to the National Key Account Manager, you will work autonomously from a small B2B sales office based in the SE suburbs. Amongst the key components of this role is maximizing customer contact and creating value to the customer’s business by providing amiable solutions while gathering and reporting key information to facilitate a proactive approach to customer service and sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Processing invoices, purchase orders, credits and expenses
  • Preparation of meeting agenda and materials
  • Managing customer logistics through HQ and local warehousing
  • Administrative support on all key accounts
  • Assisting with the development of sales proposals and presentations
  • Support in market research
  • Supporting the National Key Account Manager with data and sales analysis
  • Liaising with HQ in Germany to ensure effective customer management
  • Booking travel, sending out samples, maintenance of office documents/files and general office duties

  • Good phone manner
  • Efficient time management and organisational skills
  • Strong numerical and mathematical skills
  • B2B sales experience – highly regarded
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related business field – highly regarded
  • MS Office Skills (Excel – experience necessary. Word & PowerPoint – highly regarded)
