They are looking for a Sales Director to join their company in Melbourne CBD, wherein the primary purpose of this position is to manage the sales team, building new relationships and retaining clients. You will be experienced at creating large targeted and sophisticated sales strategies with important clients. You will have examples of executing these strategies and have outcomes of sustainable sales and profit. You will have inspired large sales teams through your leadership and learnt the art of being successful through others.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively qualify investor enquiries and property requests
  • Working with senior executives to understand exposure to risk across their enterprise
  • Selling consulting services, risk masterclasses and market leading software solutions
  • You’ll be helping risk professionals turn ‘negatives’ to ‘positives’ in an ever-changing landscape
  • As the first dedicated salesperson you’ll have access to a huge pipe of opportunities
  • Working with existing clients and partners to create opportunities
  • Generating and Improving overall sales

Essential skills and experience

  • At least 7 years proven experience in sales role with a similar strategic capacity
  • Strong sales success, preferable within the Telco/Technology sector
  • Experience working with a senior management team
  • Proven leadership experience of sales teams
  • High level communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Highly commercial
  • Acts with urgency and self-driven
