About the Role

An Operations Analyst is a member of our close-knit Operations team and assists the team in operational functions such as billing, transfers and service order requests.

You’ll also need to be able to adapt and take on new responsibilities that might otherwise seem outside of your field of expertise. Responsibilities

  • Prioritise customer connections and respond to email enquiries in a timely manner;
  • Liaise with external stakeholders for transfers, service orders and metering queries;
  • Send out timely communications to customers impacted by metering and tariff changes;
  • Manage exceptions and ticket creations for operational tasks;
  • Allocate and action incoming communications/emails from internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ensure customer’s accounts are set up correctly in order to generate statements;
  • Ensure high data accuracy;
  • Assisting in customer billing exceptions

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable knowledge of business-to-business billing and market transaction processes;
  • Experience of working in electricity and gas markets, in the eastern states of Australia;
  • Knowledge of Service Orders and Transfer related processes;
  • Excellent technical skills particularly around network tariff application;
  • Proficient in MSATS, Google sheets and Excel;
  • Experience in resolving difficult complaints which includes managing conflict;
  • The ability to create a rapport with customers and internal stakeholders as well as prior evidence of having provided excellent customer service;
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and develop strong working relationships
