National Account Manager

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Conducting calls (i.e. physical visits, phone calls, emails) with customer accounts within the sales territory, including developing and managing a call cycle to provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Retain, manage and grow the existing customer base through developing positive relationships, understanding the customer profile and providing tailored product offerings based on their needs
  • Growing sales in customer accounts to achieve budgeted sales targets, including through receiving orders and cross-promoting complementary products
  • Developing, supporting and implementing innovative sales strategies based on growing long-term relationships
  • Supporting and implementing brand and product promotional programs
  • Working collaboratively with the Production and Warehouse departments regarding to customer deliveries, as needed

  • Goals driven, professional approach with a strong ability to develop new and existing relationships with multiple accounts in a strategic manner
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a broader team
  • Take ownership of allocated work tasks and deadlines, with good attention to detail
  • Proactive, motivated and confident with a positive, can-do attitude – including the ability to take initiative and think outside the box
  • You will ideally be able to move well within the sales territory and have an ability to easily identify sales and new account opportunities across the full spectrum of on- and off-trade clientele
  • Exceptional personal presentation
