Do you have a passion for Claims? This role is the role for you then! Our Client is looking for an experience Claims Consultant to join a vibrant, fast-paced and friendly environment team in Melbourne CBD.

As Claims Consultant, you’ll be there to assist the customers when they need the client most, initiating claims as a reassuring first point of contact. You will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and strive to meet the customer’s expectations by ensuring a professional and courteous experience is being delivered to each and every customer.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring a fair and reasonable outcome for our customers
  • Processing claims for customers via telephone enquiries
  • Handling confidential claims information discreetly and professionally
  • Driving service outcomes for internal and external customers
  • Adhering to all compliance and legislative requirements
  • Processing settlements where appropriate

Essential skills and experience

  • Insurance, superannuation, allied health or relationship management/case management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and proactive attitude to change
  • An empathetic disposition, with an understanding of the importance of commercial decisions
  • Proven success within a fast-paced environment
  • Employer loyalty, showing tenure and success
