Business Development Executive

The company is one of the world’s leading providers of communication solutions, and are actively looking for a Business Development Executive to play a vital role in growing the APAC client-base through building a portfolio strategically from the ground up

Ultimately, we are looking for someone with a passion for standing out from the crowd coupled with a proven track record for achieving company quotas. Most importantly, the successful candidate will be someone who leads from the front with a hands-on approach.

This role will identify and acquire new clients, add value to existing client relationships, and achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory. With a strong solution-selling background, the successful candidate will have extensive experience selling B2B/B2C software solutions to marketing and line of business units, preferably across multiple sectors (Financial, Retail, Hospitality, Health & Wellness, Software, Online travel ECT).

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify major client opportunities.
  • Penetrate new accounts, develop and close target prospects, and grow an existing client base.
  • Build creative solutions that create an economic and strategic win for the client-base
  • Manage client relationships and ensure continual value.
  • Manage forecasts and pipeline with regular reporting.
  • Work independently to meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Respond to inbound requests and collaborate internally to resolve technical issues, billing/collections issues, and other account-related issues from customers
  • Work in partnership with the marketing team on the roll-out of marketing initiatives and go-to-market strategies for new products and features to customer base

Essential skills and experience

  • At least 3 years’ experience in business development
  • Strong phone sales experience
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying new target markets within this sector and building long term relationships is essential.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build effective long-term relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability to achieve revenue targets in a strategic manner with a flexible approach.
