Our client is a worldwide creative and production firm with offices in three major cities across Australia and China, and we deal with some of the most well-known brands in the world.

 

About the Role

We are looking for an Account Director which manages senior client relationships and leads the development of major campaigns, client presentation and pitches to potential new clients.

 

Responsibilities

  • Development of mutually beneficial long term client relationships.
  • Value-adding input into projects/campaigns (ideation, briefing, delivery and measurement)
  • Understand the client goals and needs and clearly articulate the objectives of the initiative
  • Collaborate with media and other partner agencies to develop integrated communications strategies and campaigns
  • Lead face-to-face meetings and phone-conferences with clients and associated agency partners
  • Work with client contacts to ensure any emerging issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently
  • Lead, Manage and direct Account Managers by coaching, mentoring, and directing overall workflow of team
  • Delegation of work to more junior team members
  • Briefing of strategy, creative or production teams on major new campaigns/projects
  • Review client revenue streams profitability and implement improvement measures to meet agency profit targets

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree and/or qualification in appropriate field
  • Minimum 6 years experience within a creative agency environment
  • Proven experience working in an Account Service role which involved independent client liaison and management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior team members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Successful delivery of major multi-faced integrated campaigns with multi-channel touch points (ie. TV, radio, press, print, digital, social, instore, event activations)
  • Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills
  • Strong liaison and influencing skills
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong ability to analyse and interpret data and translate this into strategic recommendations
  • Ability to prioritize, focus and posses strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Thorough understanding of clients and their business/industry
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Strong negotiator
